Podcast is suffering from technical difficulties!

Drat!!

I am having serious computer challenges and haven't been able to do my podcast. I am going to reinstall my recording software and hopefully that will help my problem. :-(

I am planning fabric giveaway with my next podcast. 8 fat quarters...up for grabs. Just need to get that sucker working again.

Nonnie asked what model my brother is. Here are the specs o. My sweet new machine. :-) I found a video link all about my fabulous machine.

Happy quilting!

  1. Seems like a good machine but I have another question. Can you move the needle to the right or left of center? I did not see that demonstrated and I always found that a useful feature to get a scant quarter inch.

I am looking for a new machine to take to classes and this one seems to be pretty good.

I can not wait until you get your podcast up again so we can hear you talk about the machine.

    Thank you NONNIE

  3. I am hoping you are getting your podcast fixed so we can hear what is going on. I have been wondering what you have been up to and what mischief the girls are into... I am sure you have stories.

I posted a tutorial for tilted blocks, let me know what you think. What have you been making?

  4. Hi Kate. I just listened to your latest podcast and enjoyed it. I'm so glad you "took the plunge" and got a new machine. When I first started to quilt, I bought the cheapest sewing machine I could find. It kept on jamming on me too. I wound up getting an old non-computerized Pfaff on Ebay. I've since upgraded to a computerized machine but still have my Pfaff and love it. Hope your family is doing well. Your rag quilt looks great! (A rag quilt was one of my first projects also.)

  5. I love sewing machines so I watched the video. I have a Brother serger which I love. Your new machine sounds a lot like my Husqvarna Viking Lily 545. You will find the walking foot to be great for grid quilting and so for attaching bindings to the front of the quilt, it will eliminate puckering. I hope you get your podcast going again soon, your blog and podcast are delightful. Blessings.
