Listening to podcasts

Here I am...taking a quick break from work. I have been listening to quilting podcasts while I have been working all day. They are so inspirational. I think that I might start a podcast about the fact that I am just a beginning quilter.

I really like listening to others talk about what they are doing. So many of these ladies are SO creative. They knit and quilt and make clothes. I am just learning how to sew and knitting just frigthens me. So....I am thinking about doing the podcast. I would love to get the feedback.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to quilt for the last few days because I have been working for hours past my normal time. Sigh.

Hears to hoping I get all of my stuff documented at work....so that I can quilt tonight.

My little bears out on their bikes with Daddy. Gotta love a sunny day!

  2. Oh! That is a great idea, Nonnie. I love your podcast. Your grandson's make me laugh! I was thinking that podcasting is a great way to get out there and share something that I am starting to love. Also, I can learn so much if I have people to ask.

Your podcast shows that you know so much about quilting! I would love to pick your brain about so many things. For example, I am afraid of cutting fabric because I always have mistakes. And do I have to know a lot of math to be a good quilter? It feels like I constantly have to recalculate things. :)

Thank you so much for your comment!

As for MATH join the club... it is a necessary evil. I hate math too but I know if I do not measure and re measure I will be sorry. As for making mistakes the only people who do not make mistakes are those people who DO NOT MAKE OR DO ANYTHING. LOOK AT MISTAKES AS AN OPPURTUNITY TO CREAT A NEW DESIGN.

  4. I agree, Nonnie! I just get so nervous about cutting, it is a little nuts. That is why I am so loving the precuts right now. I am scared and excited to get started on my brother's quilt soon, and it asks me to cut myself.

I want to make things...including mistakes. Thank you for that.
