Is this something that screams boy? It has a butterfly right in the center? I love it. Love the primary colors and the fruits on the side. Thinking I will make this for my brothers new baby girl. I am so happy for him. And for his wife. Babies are wonderful. Now I finally have a skill I can use to spoil my family with.
What do you think? Too male?
I loved that book. I think it is fabulous as long as they get the book that goes with it. The quilt is beautiful. I just don't like the pillows. Please, don't get them those pillows.

ReplyDeleteI don't think it's too masculine at all. The pillows kinda remind me of astroturf. It's a beautiful quilt with nice bright colors.

ReplyDeleteThen I used the scraps to make more Hungry Caterpillar quits for two of my cousins who had babies--one was a boy and the other was a girl. As far as I've heard, the girl liked hers more!
I am so happy to see that I am not the only one who thinks this would be an adorable little girl quilt. I bought the fabric...including the polka dots for the backing. I think it will be awesome. Thanks so much for the support!
