So....I am staring at the fabric for the table runner.
Just staring. I read the directions to cut it...and I just stare some more.
I will overcome my fear of making a mistake. Why do I assume that I am going to cute it wrong? Who is going to care of I do cut it wrong?
Where does this fear come from?
Strange!
Kate
Take a deep breath - measure twice and cut once! You can do it!! o:)
ReplyDeleteDidn't somebody do a great podcast episode about fear? Oh, wait...it was YOU! :-)
ReplyDeleteSeriously, though, Katie, I know how you feel. I usually take an unusually long time "getting ready" to cut. Once I get started, I'm fine.
Such great points! Thank you for reminding me that I swore I would NOT let fear stop me. It got me out of reading and back at the cutting table!
